Local Wines from Nashoba Valley
So I've been doing pretty well with my green goal of purchasing only wines made from organic grapes or biodynamic wines. Yesterday, however, I decided to add another category to this goal: local wines. Massachusetts definitely isn't known for its wine production, but there are some local wineries - such as Nashoba Valley Winery. I bought the Cranberry Apple wine (I mean, come on, whats more Massachusetts than that?!) and it was fabulous! It may not be organic, but it has a lower carbon footprint than wines shipped here from South Africa or Australia.
