Clutches by Sir Tom

Once again, Ecouterre has dominated my "wish list": this time by showing me these gorgeous hemp clutches by Sir Tom. They are hand printed and reasonably affordable. Plus, hemp is a green material, but just be wary while picking one out on the Sir Tom ETSY site: they aren't all hemp...some are linen and cotton (and not organic!), so get hippy-chic and pick out a cute hemp clutch for the spring season!

Princess-worthy Polish

Butter London, maker of non-toxic, non-carcinogenic nail polishes has designed a new color in honor of Kate Middleton. It will come out in March, just in time for everyone to buy it and get their nails done before the William & Kate wedding viewing parties... (I'm already planning on hosting one!).

And while we're waiting for the "No More Waity, Katie" color to come out, we can still get our non-toxic royal nail polish fix with Butter's "All Hail The Queen".

Dream Desk

One of my favorite blogs to read for interior design inspiration is Chinoiserie Chic. I absolutely love the blog's dedication to Asian-themed decor.
Today, I came across this photo --- absolutely gorgeous--- my dream blogging desk!

RRR: Shoe Planters

Artist, Giddy Spinster, is turning old stilettos into amazing planters. So creative, unique, and beautiful. It seriously makes me wonder what I can do with my old shoes!

So a few of my fellow SLU grads also have cute blogs. Some of them are actually pretty entertaining, so I've decided to share them:

RRR: On The Red Carpet

Izabella Miko, star of NBC's new show The Cape wore a wonderfully innovative dress to the premiere of the show. The dress had reused old teddy bear and stuffed animal eyes for beading! So cool!

New Years Resolutions

1. I'm going to try to go the whole year without accepting a plastic shopping bag at a store. This means I need to remember to bring extra reusable bags with me everywhere. Luckily my sis gave me the cutest canvas tote for Christmas, so I am excited to use it!

2. Start carrying a bobble water bottle so I have clean, fresh water with me and I'll never have to buy water anywhere. Plus, they are cool looking:

3. Keep my house plants alive. I'm not the most domestic person, but I love plants and potted flowers, and I'd love to have them without killing them after two weeks! ahh!

4. Not drive a car.

5. Resist the urge to turn up the heat. Boston is cold, but not thaaaat cold, so there is no reason for my roommate and I to endure horrendus heating bills and waste so much energy. Instead we are going to invest in some warm, super comfy, (and ridiculously stylish) footed pajamas to keep us warm. HoodieFooties!
I can totally picture us wearing these while watching our Monday Night Lineup: 90210, Gossip Girl, & Castle!
Warmth without waste...I love it.
